Belt Test is a procedure of how students earn their next belt and how we build their CONFIDENCE. All students have a chance to test every 8 weeks.  It is to teach children to SET GOALS and STICK WITH IT, to learn how to have GRIT.

It is our mission to empower and encourage students to go out there and give it their best. Because we know if they do it here, in our karate program, they will do it out there in life, too.

Their testing performance made the entire room go silent where you could hear a pin drop. The pressure of performing in front of all those students and their parents was tremendous.

Spicar’s Martial Arts held a fundraiser, earning $750, for the Lakeview Elementary School’s PTA in Trophy Club, Texas on December 15, 2018.

We had a mattress on the floor for years before we decided we could buy furniture. And we ate a lot of ramen noodles and Hamburger Helper, laughs Adam.

Over 300 people attended to support and encourage their karate kids in receiving their new belts and awards.

Bring your kids too! We will have a special kids’ area where they can do coloring, decorating, play games, watch a movie, etc… It will be fun day full of sweet refreshments, games and crafts for kids while you shop!

When you think of the US military, you probably think of high-tech weaponry – smart bombs and things like that. What you might not know is that the martial arts play an important role in military training.
