Martial Arts Champion - Miss Talia Flores from Southlake, TX
Miss Talia Flores recently earned her 1st Degree Senior Black Belt. Miss Flores started training with us, here in Southlake, on February 19, 2010. Currently enrolled in our Teen martial arts program, she is on her way to become a certified Level 1 Instructor by the end of summer.

We continued our month long series of How to Become More Successful in Breaking Boards. Junior, Teen and Adult students had fun breaking larger boards then is required on their Belt Test and few have even dared to try break real concrete cinder blocks.
Empowering Local Girls through Self-Defense
Girls worked with each other on scenarios when someone crosses their safe distance and learned that their voice is their biggest weapon and that they can use specific simple words to keep the stranger away.
We Are Action Packed!
We were having so much fun with our Beginner and Intermediate Junior students today! We called it an Action Packed Thursday. Boards were flying everywhere and students were having loads of fun when we were playing back their board breaking triumphs through a projector onto a 10 foot screen.

Big congratulations to our students who competed - Mr. Robert Sampson on his Spirit Medal, Miss Gaby Pulido on her 2nd Place Silver Medal in artistic forms and Mr. Surya Arakere on his 2nd Place Silver Medal in artistic forms.
